SEATTLE, Wash. — The Seattle Humane Society is in a desperate situation. Delays in receiving food orders are making it difficult to meet growing demand. The shelves are empty and in dire need. There is a shortage of cans of wet cat food, dog food, and dry cat food.
The nonprofit animal shelter is dedicated to saving lives, reuniting families, and ensuring pets remain with their loved ones.
Seattle Humane's Pet Food Bank & Supplies program collects donated pet food and distributes it to families in need throughout the region. Volunteers deliver approximately 82,000 meals each month to pet owners who rely on this essential service. Families and food banks alike rely on this lifeline to keep their beloved pets fed and healthy.
