Most pet owners (or even parents) will be happy to share with you stories and photos that assure you that their dog, cat, hamster, rabbit, bird, mouse, tarantula, or other beloved little companion is the best companion. will make you happy. But now Leader News is giving people the chance to vote on those opinions.
Nominations are now being accepted for El Campo Leader-News' Precious Pets Pix contest.
“We are so excited to bring you this new contest that celebrates our lifelong friends and the little boys and girls who make up a huge part of our families,” said El Campo leader and news publisher Shannon Crabtree. I'm happy,” he said. “I certainly don't want to give up my stuff.”
The Precious Pets Pix Contest is styled after the ever-popular All American Baby contest, with two ways to win: by a judge's vote or by a public vote.
“I can already tell you that this is going to be a tough contest to judge. Just for fun, let's take a look at the pets owned by the staff (who can't actually win in either category of this contest) I was surrounded by pictures of smiling dogs, silly cats, and voices of “Ah!”. Like,” Crabtree said.
This contest is open to all types of pets living in our readers' area and costs $15 per person to register your beloved little boy/girl. Look for her blank entry on page 2 of this edition and visit the Leader-News office at 203 E. Jackson during regular business hours or email production@leader-news.com.
The deadline for entries is close of business on Monday, February 26th, and voting will take place in the Wednesday, February 28th issue.
