“A beautiful elephant family with their baby is bonding over a newly constructed water trough for elephants and wildlife in the deep forest area of Tamil Nadu,” the Tamil Nadu Forest Department said. We are creating these troughs to ensure adequate water for wildlife. Last year, 17 troughs were created and this year, 18 troughs are being created for the Tamil Nadu Biodiversity Conservation and Greening Initiative to Address Climate Change.
