This week's Pet of the Week winner is Tenaya, a 4-year-old Goldendoodle who loves going to small town banks to make withdrawals.
Tenaya, who lives in Running Springs, Calif., with owner Sherry Owens, visits the small bank frequently.
“The four girls who work there love her and give her cookies,” Owens said. newsweek. “If she's not busy, the two of us will come out to give her a hug.”
When she's not at the bank with her owner, Tenaya loves kayaking on Arrowhead Lake and taking long drives in the car.
“She was an unofficial therapy dog for several friends' rescue dogs who came from abusive situations. They were nervous and fearful dogs,” Owens added. “As they spent time around Tenaya, they became relaxed, happy dogs and joined us on our walks and hikes. I couldn't have been happier with the bond between her and me, my best friend. I didn't expect that.”

This week's first finalist is a super cute cat who was caught on camera taking a nap in an unexpected place.
Voodoo the kitten was photographed taking a nap in his slippers by his owner Mariah Spinelli from Indiana.
“She used to do this all the time when she was little,” Spinelli said. newsweek.
Next up this week is Rescue Beanie, a 3-year-old cat who lives with her owner Frank Talmadge in Washington.
“His biggest attribute is his great markings,” Talmadge said. newsweek. “What I like about him is his personality.”
Beanie had a tough start in life as she was abused by her previous owner. But now he is a loving family pet who is cared for by his owners.
Last but not least is Chotu, a cat who lives with his owner Sanrit in Alberta, Canada.
“We took Chotu from Kolkata, India, to Medicine Hat, Canada, on two planes and in a car…the total travel time was about 24 hours,” Sanrit said. newsweekrevealed that her cat is very well traveled.
Chotu was originally found in an apartment parking lot and abandoned at just two months old, and the decision was made to adopt him.
“He is a very friendly, cheerful and cuddly cat who loves curling up with us in our bed,” his owner said.
