what's new?
In addition to the sold-out 100th Anniversary Special Edition and new Competizione trim, other significant changes to the Stelvio come in the form of upgraded Matrix-style adaptive LED headlamps and dark LED taillamps for the 2024 model year. Inside, an all-new 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster provides vehicle information and can be changed to his three layouts: Evolved, Relax, and Heritage.
What's more, Alfa Romeo has packed quite a bit of safety and driver assistance technology into its new Active Assist Plus package. The $700 package includes adaptive cruise control, lane-centering steering, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, traffic jam assist, traffic sign recognition, blind spot monitoring, and a driver attention monitor.
Luxurious interior
The Stelvio's upscale interior includes leather-trimmed sports seats with red stitching. This is standard on the Competizione and optional on other trims. Sprint, Veloce, and Ti are also available in red leather and chocolate brown at various price points. The Sprint, Ti, and Veloce have a dark headliner and aluminum sport pedals. Nine exterior colors are available across all trims, and an F1-inspired steering wheel is standard equipment.
Technology and convenience
Each Stelvio variant comes with a navigation system, wireless charging pad, air quality system, and auto-dimming rearview mirror. There are also additional standard technology features such as Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, SiriusXM Radio, keyless passive entry, and remote start.
The five-passenger Stelvio also features heated front and rear seats, an eight-way power-adjustable driver's seat, and a hands-free power liftgate. The Quadrifoglio trim features a 12-way adjustable driver's seat.
The Sprint, Ti, and Veloce come standard with an eight-speaker audio system, while the Competizione and Quadrifoglio feature 14-speaker Harman Kardon premium audio. (The 14-speaker system is also available as part of his $2,225 Premium Interior and Sound Package for Sprint, Ti, and Veloce.)
Powertrain specs and MPG
The 2024 Stelvio comes standard with a 280-horsepower turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, which remains unchanged from 2023. The Quadrifoglio boasts a carbon fiber driveshaft and hood, hiding his powerful 505 horsepower twin-turbo 2.9 engine. Underneath is a liter V6 engine. The Sprint comes standard with an eight-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. All-wheel drive is optional on the Sprint but standard on the rest of the lineup.
With the 2.0-liter engine and RWD, the Stelvio is the most efficient with an EPA rating of 25 mpg combined. The AWD version averages 24 mpg combined, while the performance-oriented Quadrifoglio pulls up the rear with 19 mpg combined.
