Lakeland, Florida (February 15, 2024) | The City of Lakeland will host the Central Florida Business Expo on April 24, 2024 at the RP Funding Center, 701 West Lime Street, Lakeland, Florida. The event will be held from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and aims to connect business leaders and professionals from across the region. This serves as an opportunity for businesses of all sizes to showcase their products and services, meet potential customers, and establish connections within the community.
A highlight of the expo will be a keynote address by Donald Miller, New York Times bestselling author and CEO of StoryBrand. Miller has written ten of his books on topics such as marketing and business growth. Build your story brand, simplify your business and How to grow a small business. He is known in the business world for his engaging speaking style and ability to convey complex marketing principles in a simple and understandable manner. His presentation is expected to provide valuable insight and inspiration to the business leaders in attendance.
The expo will also include an exhibition hall where businesses can interact directly with attendees, showcase their products and network with other businesses. This setting within the Expo provides a valuable platform for establishing business-to-business (B2B) connections, especially with businesses in Central Florida. Additionally, there will be breakout sessions and other networking events designed to foster learning and collaboration among attendees ranging from business owners, nonprofit professionals, and corporate leaders.
The first of its kind in Polk County, the event is aimed at interstate highway operators looking to raise awareness, learn from leading industry experts, and connect with potential customers and partners in Central Florida. This work will be carried out during daylight hours to minimize impact on residential areas. Vehicle traffic will be restricted while contractors work.
