The woman's experience infuriated other social media users, who sided with Zomato and slammed the restaurant. One user wrote, “Really what happened is Zomato's fault. The outlet should be punished for this. Did you have any problems with Zomato's delivery or response? Zomato delivers sealed food packs, The chance of cockroach infestation during delivery is minimal.”
“Personally, I think cockroaches in food are a restaurant problem, not a delivery problem. Zomato or Swiggie orders are usually sealed for delivery. But certainly, this particular incident As for that, I could be wrong,” another user commented.
Food quality issues have been increasing over the years. An IndiGo passenger recently found a screw in his sandwich on a Bengaluru-Chennai flight.
