X user Joanna Chiu claimed she was “kicked” from a WestJet flight for using the toilet too much before takeoff. In her post, she detailed that her stomach was not feeling well and she had to go to the bathroom frequently.
She wrote in a tweet that she was removed from the plane “at short notice” and left money with a fellow traveler. My boss at WestJet refused to pay for a taxi ride to my hotel 20 minutes away. She also claimed that her supervisor “called security to intimidate her.” (Also read: IndiGo passenger claims to have found screw in sandwich given to him on board. See photo)
In a subsequent tweet, she revealed that when she began filming her interaction with her boss at WestJet, she was told that she would not be able to take another flight unless the boss deleted the video.
“I'm sad that I couldn't get any help unless I went public with my experience. After repeatedly asking for my reservation number at the airport, I received a DM from WestJet. I finally got a taxi. “The reason I rode was because I was understandably worried about being arrested,” Chiu said at the end of her tweet.
