Michelle Fee, founder and CEO of Cruise Planners, shared some compelling statistics in front of more than 1,000 travel advisors. Compared to 2022, the luxury travel segment grew by 36%, with bookings for world and exotic cruises increasing by an astonishing 295%. Additionally, river cruises soared by his 20% and land sales showed his double-digit growth. This was a 13% increase compared to the previous year.
Teresa Scargitti, COO of Cruise Planners, also highlighted the resurgence of cruises, with 2023 sales up 63% compared to 2022. Notable jumps by destination include a 48% increase in departures from Europe and Alaska, and an 80% increase in departures from the Caribbean. Sales increase rate compared to the previous year.
This data shows that the industry is thriving as more and more people discover the joy of travel. Our franchisees have different goals and we help them achieve their unique goals. Almost half of the cruise planner network has seen a 50% increase in sales over the past year, demonstrating diverse and robust growth within the network.
