Nominations are only accepted online at bit.ly/DFpets24.
Public voting begins at 12:01 a.m. on February 12th and ends at midnight on February 15th. Also at bit.ly/DFpets24.
The best photos will be published in print and online on February 18th with a short description. This feature comes with an online slideshow.
The categories for the 20th Annual Daily Freeman Pet Contest are “Most Beautiful Pet,” “Pet Companion,” “Best Expression,” “Best Dressed,” “Weirdest Pet,” and “Owner-Pet Lookalike.” ', 'The most outstanding photographic composition'. ”
Nominations must include:
• One recent photo.
• Your pet's name and brief description.

Only one application per household is allowed.
In 2023, over 300 entries and over 2,600 votes were cast online across all seven categories over four days.
