If you need a last-minute party appetizer, whether it's for your Super Bowl party or Galentine's Day dinner, we may have found the easiest crowd pleaser.
This one is for olive lovers, and while homemade Olive Tapenade is a quick way to get that briney goodness into your spread, this trending recipe is even simpler. In fact, you can make it in less than 5 minutes, and you won't have to dirty a single dish either.
Here's how to make these viral Marinated Olives shared by creator Yaidy Makes on Instagram.
First, grab your favorite jar of olives and drain out the brine (Yaidy uses a 5.5-ounce jar of Goya pitted cocktail olives). The only other ingredients you need—which you may already have on hand—is olive oil, a minced garlic clove, ½ fresh chopped rosemary, ⅛ teaspoon of red pepper flakes and lemon juice.
Pour in your olive oil so it fills about ¾ of the jar. That's when you'll add in your garlic, rosemary, red pepper flakes. Squeeze in your lemon juice until the jar is full.
Make sure you screw on or close the lid extra tight before shaking everything in the jar together until combined. And that's it! Refrigerate overnight for the best results, and according to the creator, it can last up to 2 weeks in the fridge for an easy last-minute addition to the table.
We love having olives for snacking and including them on cheese boards and appetizer spreads. For more easy party starters, check out these Three-Step Appetizers to Make for the Super Bowl.
