KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Roll Call! Tech N9ne has brought together a slew of Strange Music students and alumni for an explosive new collaboration.
On Friday, February 9th, Strange Music Inc. announced that multi-platinum hip-hop legend Tech N9ne will be releasing a new collaborative single and music video with other artists including King Iso, Joe Cool, JL, Lex Bratcher, and X-Raided. announced that it had been released. The name of the song is “Roll Call.”
The label noted that the track explodes with nearly seven minutes of lyrical mastery. Tech has assembled a collective of hip-hop talent for this song that represents the present and past of strange music.
The song climaxes with a catchy chorus, and hip-hop experts say Teck takes a victory lap and declares, “I'll never lose, the money'll never run out.”
However, when the gang wakes up after a wild reunion party at Strange Music headquarters in Kansas City, the accompanying visuals may be the biggest yet. The troupe, dressed in their finest clothes, performs throughout the hall, surrounded by hazy partygoers.
Strange Music said “Roll Call” stands out as Tech's first collaboration in seven years since his eighth album, Strange Reign, released in 2017. This song hints at more things to come.
The label revealed that Tech will be landing in Las Vegas over the weekend to cheer on the Kansas City Chiefs as they take on the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, February 11th. Watch the 5:30 p.m. kickoff on KCTV5.
