Can we talk about how soulful and kind Coby's eyes are? He is a kind and sensitive boy, but he may not have had the best life so far. Luckily for him, it's all uphill from here. He spent months at another shelter in Wyoming with no adoption interest. That's when he BDAR intervened. Coby can be a little scared of loud noises and sudden movements, so he thinks it's best for Coby to have no children or older children in the house. He is very tolerant of pushy dogs. One of his brother's dogs is a “face-to-face” type of gal and he gets along well with her. He really just wants to be loved by humans and give love in return. He can go over a 4-foot fence, so you need a 6-foot fence to contain him. If you're bored in your backyard and it's been left alone for too long, you might try digging a hole. With proper exercise and supervision, he should be fine. When we met the cat at the adoption center, he seemed to be getting along well with the cats, with supervision of course. Apply to meet him now! **Please don't walk past me! His adoption fee has been reduced by $100.
Mr. Blitz is a very fun dog! He is also a napper and a toy destroyer. He likes to unstuff toys, but otherwise has good manners. He likes foster siblings of other dogs. He wanted to chase the cats we tested in true hound fashion, so he could do his best in a kitten-free home. Blitz has been known to jump over 4-foot fences in the past, so at least a 6-foot fence is required. He is good at building doghouses. This is a good thing because if left alone he could be tempted to counter surf. He is trained in his home and is good at meeting strangers. Blitz has some skin allergies that we're trying to figure out. He seems to be allergic to chicken, but he can easily manage it with low doses of steroids and proper food. If you have any questions about his medical needs, we would be happy to answer them.
He is just an all-around great dog! Apply to Blitz. Don't pass by me! His adoption fee was reduced by $100.

Boo is the kindest senior gal! When she first came to the center, she was quiet and hidden. It turned out that she had a severe infection and had a serious injury to her leg. After she received her health certificate, we couldn't understand why she wasn't eating or drinking or coming out of her bed where she was hiding. guess what? Boo, who lives in a shelter, is hated. We've seen this several times, and it's always hard to understand, especially if she wasn't mean to other cats. Boo is currently thriving in her foster care. She is content to nap in the sun or near the heater on cold days. She is munching on her food and she likes chicken best. Help us get Boo into her permanent home now! Apply to meet her! She's friendly with kids, cats, and dogs, so she'll easily fit into your home right now!
Carmel is shy and reserved. He eats well and is clearly more active at night. She will probably work best as a barn cat. Carmel is a friendly pet and accepts annual vaccinations, but she has shown no signs at this time that she wants to spend time with humans.
Minerva has clear boundaries and just wants to be petted on her own terms and wants to be left alone for a few hours each day. She gets along well with dogs. She's a little unsure whether she'll like other kittens or not. Before Minerva came to us, she lived with children without any problems, but while in our care she set very clear boundaries. If you cross the line, she will lash out. She's sweet as long as you know when she's bored. Can you provide this chubby girl with a home that meets these requirements? Come meet Minerva today!
