Greenville Eastern North Carolina Alliance (ENC) has hired Julia Davis, a Pitt County native and East Carolina University graduate, to the position of Marketing and Investor Relations Coordinator.
Davis said she wasn't actively looking for a new job opportunity, but her interest was peaked when she stumbled upon the position on social media. As a Greenville native, her ENC efforts and her goals aligned well with hers.
“Their commitment to advancing economic development in Greenville and Pitt County resonated deeply with my personal mission,” she said. “I have a passion for contributing and serving the community, so this opportunity was perfect for me.”
As she adjusts to her new role, Davis said she is excited about the opportunity to play a key role in promoting economic development, fostering connections and highlighting what makes Greenville great.
Davis said the School of Business Administration has provided her with the knowledge, skills and mindset to take on a position like this. Additionally, she said that maintaining relationships with her professors and supervisors has helped her receive guidance and improved her overall communication skills.
“Through coursework, hands-on projects, and collaborative activities, I developed and refined my critical thinking and problem-solving skills,” she said. “Her ECU commitment to promoting a well-rounded education deepened my marketing skills and also had a lasting impact on my sense of adaptability and resilience.”
