'Stick it to Stigma' raises awareness of mental health
March 28th Seattle. In boys hockey tonight, Bedford defeated Bishop Gethin Four. Nothing, but this game had some great efforts to promote mental health. Bedford players wore special green jerseys. Green is the color that represents mental health awareness. Bulldog senior Jack Warble organized the Stick IT to Stigma game, using the power of sports and teams to promote individual well-being. Feeling connected is a huge thing, allowing you to build relationships with people you probably wouldn't have otherwise, find common interests like a sports team, club, another organization, etc. You can feel that connection.
