A video of a street vendor making idli ice cream is going viral on Instagram. This video focuses on the interesting fusion of South Indian cuisine and ice cream, where sambhar and chutney are also used to make this unique ice cream roll.
Food vlogger Sukrit Jain first shared the video on Instagram. When opened, it shows individual idlis chopped into small pieces. As the video progresses, he pours red chutney, coconut chutney, sambhar and ice cream over the idli. Next, mix all the ingredients well and then level the mixture on a cold plate. Finally, he serves the idli ice cream and garnishes it with half an idli and chutney.

Since being shared on January 17, the video has gone viral, racking up more than 12.7 million views. Many people took to the comments section of the video to share their thoughts, including one of his friends, Sukrit Jain, who first shared the video. He wrote: [But, it was tasty]”
