On Monday, I destroyed the following two systems. We'll be using these systems continuously throughout this week, so if you read this article earlier in the week, you'll find some of the same information. However, this update includes Friday slate picks and additional information specific to those games.
You can also find notes about my theater performance and overall system since Monday.
new system tools of DraftKings Sportsbook Statistics Hub Highlights trends over the past 7 days, past 30 days, and the entire season based on a variety of factors. In this article, we'll take a look at some of the systems that have been trending over the past week, with the goal of finding other games that can be applied to those systems in next week's games.
There is one thing to note about the upcoming system that matches the sections throughout this article. NBA favorites/losers, spreads, and totals are typically not available until the night before the game. Also, some systems may be based on the results of previous games. Please make sure the games described in this section match before making your selection.
System: If the home team is in the second leg of a back-to-back, the total over
There was a slightly more focused version of this play last week, but since it was a favorites-based system, you could only play this system twice. Expanding things allows you to play with trends more.
The over is 7-4 (63.64%) in the past 7 days. Nevertheless, this play only makes him 15-20-1 in the past 30 days. However, this play has been hitting him over 55% of the time this season (60-45-3), so there's nothing wrong with standing by his recent strong record.
System performance since January 29th
System – 2-3
My recommendation – 0-1
System Picks for February 2nd
Two games fit into this system on Friday's schedule.
The IND-SAC total is 248.5, so it's a little easier to look at other options on this slate. However, with this setting, IND is over at 4-1. SAC is only 2-5 when on the other side of this system, but his average total in those seven games is 239. It's a noticeable increase from Friday's total, so it might be better to make fun of it than play it straight. Still, the two recently played against each other in the absence of Tyrese Haliburton (I expect him to miss again on Friday) and combined for 247 points. Over is playable, but it's not my preferred play.
That title belongs to MEM-GSW. The Grizzlies may be over his 0-4 in this setup, but they are underdogs in the second leg of back-to-back games in the Western Conference. The over is 26-15-1 when this system is applied.
Pick: MEM-GSW 224.5 or higher
System: West loses ATS vs. East
This system has not only started in the past week, but has been going strong for over a month.
Over the past 7 days, this play is 8-3 (72.73%). This gives the system a decent record of 28-18 (28-18) in the past 30 days and a respectable 52-46 (53.06%) on the season.
System performance since January 29th
System – 6-5
My recommendation – 1-0
System Picks for February 3rd
There are no games on Friday's schedule that fit this system. So let's take a look at the matches that could fit in on Saturday.
Five non-conference games are scheduled for this day.
- GSW-ATL
- Sacchi
- LAL-NYK
- Sacre
- Dalmil
The first two probably won't feature any Western underdogs, so I'll focus on the other three. Against the favorite West, the Knicks are 6-3 ATS, the Cavs are 4-7 ATS and Milwaukee is 3-8 ATS. Against the underdog East, the Lakers are 3-3 ATS, San Antonio is 8-10 ATS, and Dallas is 3-2 ATS. Just looking at these numbers alone gives Dallas an easy priority play advantage. But I don't like rooting for the Mavs in general, especially considering Luka Doncic just missed the last game.
Rather, I'm interested in San Antonio, which lost a close game to the Cavaliers 117-115 last time. Adding to the situation the last time these two teams met, Cleveland came out victorious. If the Cavs win and become the favorites against Western teams, they will be 2-6 ATS on him.
Pick: SA ATS
