NEWBURYPORT — Central Congregational Church will host a “Valentine Love” pet food drive on Feb. 10 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Titcomb Street Chapel.
All donations will go directly to First Parish Pet Food Pantry, Newberry Elder Pet Fund, and Salisbury COA Senior Pet Food Pantry.
Items accepted include: Canned dog and cat food – all brands and types (including recently expired products). Dry (small grain) dog and cat food – all brands, all types (including recently expired products). Opened a bag of dry dog or cat food. Pee pad for house training pets. Gallon size ziplock bag. New toilet. Cat litter that doesn't harden. Clean your toys to make them look like new. Medicated shampoo/conditioner. Bird food for pet birds.
A drive-by collection is taking place at the same time in the Pleasant Street parking lot behind the church (opposite the Changing Tides cafe).
The church is accepting donations of pet food and supplies at the church office every weekday through February 10, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Those unable to drop off items during that time can call the church at 978-465-0533 to schedule an appointment. Drop off time.

Donated funds will help these organizations purchase much-needed food and supplies when critical items are unavailable.
