JACKSON, MI – Kylie and Tippy are just two of the many pets finding loving forever homes at the Cascade Humane Society.
Kylie is a playful 8-month-old mixed breed puppy who is ready to invade your heart and home. Kylie's petite body is packed with personality and joy, making her the perfect playmate for your family.
Kylie is great at sitting (especially treats) and loves toys that are great for pouncing on and pushing. Kylie gets along well with most dogs.
Kylie is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm-free, making her your forever companion. Want to add some tail-wagging fun to your life? Adopt Kylie today.
Tippy is a beautiful long-haired black and white cat. This 6 year old boy is very quiet. He has spent time with children and cats, but is a little afraid of dogs.
Tippy is a friendly and affectionate cat who loves lying on people's laps. Friendly pets are his favorite and will happily bask in your attention. If you're looking for a loving companion, Tippy might be just the thing for you.
Tippy is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV.
If you think Kylie or Tippi could be your next perfect furry family member (or member), please stop by! Cascades Humane Society, 1515 Carmen Drive, is open Tuesday through Saturday from noon to 6 p.m.
Cascade Humane Society's participation in the Bissell Pet Foundation “Empty the Shelter” event has been extended through Saturday, February 3rd.
This program, in which the Foundation sponsors reduced-cost adoptions of selected dogs and cats, aims to find loving forever homes for pets in need. During the event, dog adoption fees will be reduced by $50 and select cat adoption fees will be reduced by $20.
For more information, contact the Cascade Humane Society front desk at 517-787-7387.
All dogs and cats at Cascade Humane Society are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and parasite-protected before adoption. Pet owners also receive free health exams from 24 local veterinarians.
Dog owners who wish to adopt another dog must meet with their own dog and the dog they choose to adopt.
CHS has added services to its spay/neuter assistance program. This service is available at the time of a scheduled spay or neuter and includes vaccines, heartworm testing for dogs, FIV and FeLV testing for cats, and dental procedures.
CHS also has a pet food pantry to assist families facing financial hardship. CHS accepts donations of cat or dog food as long as it is in its original packaging. Donors can drop off food by the pole barn at the back of the facility. The pet food pantry is open the first Saturday of each month from noon to 2 p.m.
