Summer Creek, FB Austin and Cypress Springs will be Houston's big three heading into the women's basketball postseason in 2024.
Summer Creek and Fort Bend Austin are the queens of Class 6A Region III, while Cypress Springs and Klein Collins hope to surpass the likes of DeSoto and Duncanville in Region II.
Class 5A will be an interesting battle as Lake Creek, Randle, Manvel and Montgomery look to take on defending Region III champion Fulshear. This city is full of unique talent, with McDonald's All-Americans Justice Carleton (Seven Lakes) and Mela O'Neal (Episcopal) advancing to the final round of the playoffs.
Kincaid and Rose Hill Christian have legitimate shots and have won their respective leagues.
stay tuned.
