Coyotes are everywhere in Massachusetts
Every city and town in Massachusetts is off-limits when it comes to coyote activity. The video below shows a large herd of coyotes spotted in Cohasset.
When a coyote is in heat, it will try to grab anything it can eat, including dogs and cats of all sizes. Please keep an eye on your pet and keep it on a short leash. Garbage bins should be kept tightly closed and bird feeders should be brought in as they are a magnet for coyote activity.
Although coyotes rarely attack humans, they can be a nuisance and certainly a threat to other animals. Keep your pets safe this coyote season by taking the aforementioned precautions seriously.
