At a treat tasting event held at Amherst Tractor Supply Company on January 27, pets were tempted by a wide variety of delicious treats to choose from.
The event, which began at 11 a.m. at the TSC store at 1971 Cooper Foster Park Road, provided free treats for dogs as well as a veterinary clinic for low-cost vaccinations, said Assistant Manager Ashley Kasper. It was also added.
Pets as small as a teacup-sized Yorkshire terrier in a warm sweater and as large as an American bandage were given the opportunity to try out a variety of pet treats sold by Tractor Supply Company.
“At Tractor Supply, we believe in giving your pet choices,” said Trevor Rindfleisch, Amherst Tractor Supply Store Manager. “From our unique His 4health® brand to many other high-quality products, we have a wide range of pet food and treat options to ensure your His 4health.
Your legged friends will stay fed and satisfied all year round. ”
The free event was open to the public and featured products such as Retriever Brand, a popular brand of dog food and treats, and Temptations cat treats.
A festive table with sweets was decorated with a mix of decorations, including stuffed animals and bowls of biscuits.
The event was held in collaboration with a veterinary hospital that the store regularly hosts.
Kaspar said the veterinary clinic offers discounted vaccinations to pet owners, making it a popular choice for people who want to save money while still taking care of their pets' medical needs.
Kasper said she expected 20 to 30 pets to come to the clinic as well as the treat tasting event.
In addition to dogs and cats, livestock such as goats have also been brought in.
“The veterinarians here have always been really good,” Kasper said.
“We are always happy to take in babies,” she said of the young animals who often come to the clinic for their first vaccinations.
Kaspar said vaccinating pets early is critical to controlling the disease.
“I love animals,” said Kasper, the proud owner of a dog and nine cats.
Customer Phyllis Wine said she stopped by the store to buy chicken jerky for her dog, a 10-year-old pit bull/Shar-Pei mix who prefers duck jerky.
