Broward County, Florida – The Humane Society of Broward County joins Local 10 News Saturday as they continue their search to find loving, permanent homes for pets.
HSBC Vice President of Marketing Shelly Wachter introduced the 4-month-old star to Local 10 viewers.
Wachter said Starr weighs about 20 pounds and needs training.
Starr is from a sister shelter and has only been at the shelter for about 48 hours.
Wachter advised that Star would need more space or a garden to run.
Wachter said if you want to take Star home, you'll need to enroll in HSBC's pet obedience class to train your new furry friend.
Wachter also introduced Local 10 News viewers to a pair of kittens, Bowie and Sabbath.
She said they were both a fun pair and could easily break up and go home with each other.
Wachter also said they have a lot of large dogs and older pets looking for “further” homes.
Mr. Wachter also spoke about HSBC's annual Walk for the Animals event. At this event, donations will be used for the well-being of animals looking for homes and necessary surgeries.

HSBC said it is also accepting donations of toys for the animals to play with at the shelter.
