Washington (DC News Now) — Time is running out for DC residents who need health insurance and those who need to apply for My School DC. DC Public Schools Public School Lottery.
District leaders are reminding people to select a plan in the district's online state-based health insurance marketplace by midnight Wednesday, Jan. 31
Residents should visit the website dchealthlink.com by midnight January 31st to see available health plans.
And this weekend, there will be an in-person event where residents can attend to speak with experts and receive assistance with registration.
- Ben's Chili Bowl (1213 U Street NW) – Saturday, January 27th and Sunday, January 28th, 11 a.m. until close.
- Martin Luther King Jr. Library (901 G Street NW) – Saturday, January 27th, 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
- Our Lady Queen of the Americas Catholic Church (2200 California Street NW) – Sunday, January 28th, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The next deadline for DC neighbors to remember is the “My School DC” lottery for high schools.
The deadline is February 1 of the 2024-25 school year.
My School DC is a common application and public school lottery for all DC public schools and most public charter schools from PK3 to 12. A random drawing will determine the placement of new students at all participating schools, officials said.
