Arthur Leclerc became Ferrari's new development driver after his dismissal from the team's academy, and Oliver Bearman became the new reserve driver.
The 23-year-old brother of full-time driver Charles Leclerc will leave the Ferrari Academy at the end of 2023, but the team confirmed he will “remain part of the Ferrari family”.
What that will look like has become clear with Leclerc taking on the role of development driver for the Scuderia.
Arthur Leclerc given new role at Ferrari alongside Oliver Bearman
Leclerc will join Antonio Fuoco and Davide Rigon as development drivers and will work in the simulator to help both his brother and Carlos Sainz.
Apart from his development role, he will also compete in the Italian GT Championship with the Scuderia Baldini 27.
Young talent Bearman has also been given a new job as the team's reverse driver, with the 18-year-old Briton potentially making his F1 debut if either Leclerc or Sainz are unavailable.
Bearman continued to race in F2, finishing third in 2023, seven points behind winner Victor Martins.
However, the Premar racer will not be the only reserve driver, but will share the role with Antonio Giovinazzi and Robert Schwartzman, who are competing in WEC this season.
