But a museum in Tokyo, Japan is promoting a “shitty” way to spend your day using Instagram-worthy poop as a theme. A video of Japan's poop museum has captured the attention of the internet and is causing a variety of reactions.

The video caught the attention of travel enthusiasts, and the comments section was flooded with reactions. “Looks pretty bad if you ask me,” one user wrote. Another user wrote: “50 colors of poop.”
“We should start calling these kinds of spaces indoor playgrounds instead of museums. No one learns or understands anything from these experiences,” a third user argued. Another user responded: “It still looks better than Willy Wonka's.”
According to a report by Japan Travel Planning, the museum's mission is to change people's perceptions of poop.
This isn't the only poop museum in the world. Last month, Melbourne opened its first public poop museum. According to the Guardian, the museum is located across the road from where Melbourne's first public toilets were opened in 1859.
