There is currently one commitment in the 2025 recruiting cycle and Ole Miss is trending to be a top-15 prospect in its home state.
The Rebels have a 95.2% chance of landing the three-star tight end from Madison (Mich.) Central, according to the On3 recruiting prediction machine. mika jones. Ole Miss recruiting official Zach Berry gave the expert's prediction in favor of the Rebels with a 70% confidence level.
Ole Miss tight ends coach Joe Cox was Jones' primary recruiter at Alabama and continues that relationship at Oxford.
“The visit was great. I talked to some of the players and I talked to Coach Kiffin,” Jones said. “We broke down the film and then went to the basketball game.”
Jones said he plans to make a decision before the start of his senior season.
“We'll probably wait for the authorities to make a decision,” Jones said. “I also plan to attend spring practice at Ole Miss.”
“It seems really cool to play in your home state,” Jones said in a previous interview with OMSpirit.

Ole Miss has put together an impressive recruiting class for the 2024 cycle. The Rebels reportedly signed 21 prospects, resulting in the No. 20 class in the nation. On3 industry team recruitment ranking.
The star of the class is a four-star defensive lineman from Lake Cormorant (Michigan). Camarion Franklin, is ranked 81st overall prospect and 10th DL in the On3 industry rankings. He is one of four four-star prospects heading to Oxford.
“It’s an opportunity to wear it for your home state and make your state known.” Franklin told On3 about his commitment to Ole Miss.. “The relationships I built at Ole Miss also contributed to this decision. My ability to impact my state is great and I'm ready to take on that challenge.”
This class also includes the nation's No. 1 wide receiver and top-ranked JUCO prospect. Dion Smith.He joins a four-star Interior offensive lineman from Houston (Mich.) at the top of the class. William Echols and Taylorsville (Mich.) Top 10 JUCO CB cedric beavers.
