2024 Class 0f five-star Bryson Tucker appears to be trending in the Hoosiers' favor after his official visit this week.
Of particular note, On3 national analyst Jamie Shaw issued his prediction for Indiana on Wednesday night.
“A source said Mr. Tucker is happy with his time in Bloomington and his anticipated role,” Shaw said in a Tuesday report.
Meanwhile, on 247Sports, Colby Jakubeno, who has close ties to Tucker's hometown of the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, also made predictions for Indiana on Wednesday.
Tucker will play a small forward/wing role in his college career.
Indiana offered Tucker in 2021, but hasn't been very involved in his recruitment recently. That changed last month with Liam McNeely's departure from the Hoosiers.
Until this week, Michigan State and Kansas were thought to be the leads for Tucker, but that may have been leaning toward G League Ignite before their recent disbandment.
If Indiana acquires Tucker, he would be the only confirmed player in the 2024 class, joining Jakai Newton as players with four years of eligibility remaining.
Since taking over as head coach in 2021, Woodson has successfully recruited coveted Top 40 prospects Tamar Bates, Malik Renaud and Mackenzie Mbako in the spring of each of their senior seasons. .
