“It's all because of her father's supreme sacrifice. Inayat was just three years old when she lost her father, Major Navneet Vats, in a counter-insurgency operation. Over 20 years later, she joined the #IndianArmy I am commissioned and wearing the same military uniform as I did then.'' Her father, her hero, once did the same thing. Welcome, daughter of the military, Lt. Lt. Inayat Vats,” the military wrote while sharing the photo.
