Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, shared a poignant health message to mark World Health Day amid Duchess Kate's battle with cancer.
Prince Andrew's ex-wife took to her official Instagram account on Sunday to urge her followers to check their health regularly and take care of their health.
Ms Ferguson, 64, also uploaded a photo of herself posing with a wide smile wearing a shirt, a full navy skirt and a navy jacket with silver detailing. The photo appears to have been taken in May 2023, shortly before she announced her cancer diagnosis, Sky News reported.
“Today on #WorldHealthDay, I want to remind everyone reading this to check themselves,” she wrote.
“Check the state of your mind, check your body. Go for regular health checkups. Let it walk. Read a book. Your body and mind are your top priority. Be sure to love Please show us,” the Duchess of York concluded.

Ferguson, who underwent reconstructive surgery and a mastectomy in June last year, said her prognosis was “good.”
Unfortunately, a few months after her breast cancer diagnosis, she was also diagnosed with skin cancer, which was also effectively treated.
After having multiple moles removed for tests, Fergie's diagnosis of malignant melanoma, a serious type of skin cancer, was announced in January.
“I was diagnosed with malignant melanoma, a type of skin cancer, and this summer I was diagnosed with breast cancer, my second cancer diagnosis within a year after undergoing a mastectomy and reconstructive surgery. “I spend time on it,” she said. she wrote on Instagram.

Mr. Ferguson expands support for Duchess Kate after cancer diagnosis
Shortly after Kate revealed her cancer diagnosis, Mr. Ferguson praised the Duchess for speaking out about it publicly to raise awareness.
“As someone who has faced her own battle with cancer in recent months, I admire the way she has spoken publicly about her diagnosis and know it will have a tremendous effect on raising awareness. I know that,” Ferguson said, adding: Her “thoughts and prayers” are with Middleton.
In a rare public appearance for the first time in 30 years, the Duchess of York recently attended the annual Easter Matins church service with Prince Andrew and other members of the royal family.
