Former Indian cricketer-turned-commentator Navjot Singh Sidhu has given a promising update on his wife's health, revealing that she has been discharged from hospital. His wife, Navjot Kaur Sidhu, is undergoing treatment for breast cancer, and she underwent multiple rounds of chemotherapy after which she was discharged from the hospital. According to a post shared by the former cricketer, his wife will take a month's rest before starting the next round of radiation treatments. Sidhu, who is also busy as a commentator for the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 campaign, posted several pictures of his wife and the doctor who was treating her.
Sidhu posted on X (formerly Twitter), “I'm back on my feet…discharged from the hospital…1 month recovery period for 25 radiation treatments…thanks to Dr. Rupinder and his staff…forever indebted to me.'' 2 photos.

Earlier, Mr Sidhu revealed that his wife had undergone surgery for metastasis, a rare condition that required doctors to remove and reconstruct her affected skin.
“The surgery for the rarest metastasis lasted three and a half hours. The affected skin was removed and reconstruction was done with a flap. Her determination was steadfast and the smile never faded from her face. Courage, your name is Noni. Dr. Rupinder wishes you a speedy recovery,” Sidhu had written.

While his wife's health and recovery remains his priority, Sidhu is expected to entertain fans with his commentary in IPL 2024 as well.
