LEXINGTON, Ky. — The inaugural Future of Sports Summit, to be held April 15 at the University of Kentucky, will explore a wide range of topics impacting college sports with sessions led by coaches, executives, industry leaders, faculty, and student-athletes. Explore topics.
Anyone interested in the sports industry can register and participate in person or online. Registration fees range from $20 to $45, with discounted prices available for UK students. Agenda and details for each session are listed on the registration website.
The summit is hosted by the Future of Sport Institute, Department of Kinesiology and Health Promotion, UK College of Education.

This summit, themed “The Future of University Sports,” is the first public event for the Institute for the Future of Sports. Launched last fall, the institute was created to foster conversations about contemporary issues facing the global sports industry.
The summit will be held in the Harris Ballroom at UK Gatton Student Center. Topics include name, image and likeness (NIL), transfer portals, sponsorship and multimedia rights, mental health and wellness, women in leadership, sports technology and sports media.
