Meet Jazz, Bebop Cat! His favorite pastimes are sunbathing in sunny areas, playing with toys, and exploring indoors (especially climbing cat trees). But there's nothing better than cuddling up to someone you love and purring with love. Let the cat melody begin! For more information, please visit his website at Berkeley East Bay Humane Society (berkeleyhumane.org) and schedule an appointment with me.

Shenandoah is a lively and loving 5-year-old dog who currently lives at the Dublin East Bay SPCA location. Despite enduring a severe fracture in his hind leg, Shenandoah's spirit remains intact.
After amputation became necessary, she showed nothing but love and affection to everyone she met. Shenandoah loves to walk slowly on three legs, and she values human companionship. If you're ready to open your heart and home to this kind soul, consider adopting Shenandoah to give her the forever home she deserves today. East Bay SPCA offers walk-in adoptions at its Oakland and Dublin campuses Wednesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. For up-to-date, real-time information about programs and services, visit eastbayspca.org/adoptions.

If you like large dogs, the handsome Samson ticks all the boxes. He is friendly, sweet, playful, gets along well with other dogs after proper introduction, and is a great boy. The 2-year-old is a favorite of staff and volunteers. Although he weighs 85 pounds, he walks easily and has both an imposing air and a goofy side. You can meet us any time except Monday at Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter, 1590 Fortman Way. Or feel free to call him at 510-337-8565 or visit alamedaanimalshelter.org/adopt.

I think you might like this person. Byron is a male orange tabby. He appears to have been abandoned by Byron's feral cat community. Byron was getting along well and they didn't try to kick him out, but Byron wanted to get into the car and he started following the person feeding the car. So now he is enjoying life with one of our foster parents. He would love his forever home. For more information about Byron or any of the other pets available for adoption at the Contra Costa SPCA, please call Pat at 925-323-0667.
