MASSENTIER JOINT NATIONAL GUARD BASE, S.C. – In an effort to promote community health and expand access to health care, the South Carolina Air National Guard (SCANG) 169th Medical Group, in collaboration with local health partners, hosted the Richland County Regional Medical Expo on April 6th. Garners Ferry Adult Activity Center.
Led by the 169th Medical Group in collaboration with the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control and various community stakeholders, this collaborative health education initiative builds strong links between military health care providers and community resources. emphasizes the importance of

Richland County residents received blood pressure tests, vaccine and prescription information, and life insurance education. The event provided residents with access to valuable health information, interactive demonstrations, and an opportunity to connect with medical professionals and community organizations dedicated to improving health.
The Community Health Expo reflects SCANG's continued commitment to serving not only military personnel, but the broader community. The 169th Medical Group aims to empower individuals to take proactive steps to improve their health and well-being by fostering collaboration and leveraging community resources.
