BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — A new partnership between two Birmingham organizations is expected to help ambitious businesses find success.
Entrepreneurship Launchpad is a partnership program hosted by Birmingham Business Resource Center (BBRC) and Birmingham Area Housing Board (HABD).
This pilot program will run for four weeks and is designed to help you create a business plan, understand business processes, learn how to market your business, and obtain your business license.
After the program, HABD invests in each participant's business by supporting business license application costs and offering additional educational programs for participants who wish to continue their business education.
BBRC Program Development Director AJ Stevens will serve as the program instructor and help guide and support participants in the pilot cohort.
“Entrepreneurship must be nurtured in every corner of our community, which is why we are pleased to have the opportunity to partner with the Housing Authority to provide information, training and guidance to our residents. ” said BBRC Executive Director Bob Dickerson in a press release. “We want people to know that wherever there is an interest in business ownership, we are there too.
