(WHNT) — Furry friends across the Tennessee Valley are looking for fur homes. This week on News 19, we feature two such adorable pets, Mabel and Mercedes.
Mabel was rescued from extreme neglect in Madison County, and after several visits to the hospital and great care from the Greater Huntsville Humane Society (GHHS) and a wonderful foster home, she will be forever cared for. ready to move into the house.
Mabel enjoys treats, toys, and other furry friends. She has improved completely and her local trainer has agreed to donate her time to help those who decide to adopt her. Mabel is not in a shelter, but you can apply on her GHHS website and her foster parents will set up a meet-and-greet.
Next up is Mercedes. She is a sassy medium-haired kitten who is just looking for a new home. Mercedes is a playful 5-month-old who loves playing with toys.
GHHS officials said she would benefit from having another cat in the home, but she does play a little rough and wouldn't get along well with dogs or young children.
