Brian Kelly and LSU already have one of the nation's best running back prospects in the 2025 recruiting class, but they're not done yet.
The Tigers are looking to add two players to the position this cycle and appear to be in the best position to accomplish that. LSU has already been trending for four-star prospect James Simon, and now multiple projections are favoring the running back from Alexandria (La.). JT Lindsay In the same way.
This comes on the heels of LSU running backs coach Frank Wilson making an offer to Lindsay. TheBengalTiger.com insiders Billy Embody and Shea Dixon both have a high confidence rating of 80% on him as the pick in favor of LSU.
“It was heartwarming. I've been waiting for this since I was little,” Lindsay told Bengal Tiger about the offer. “After practice, Coach Frank took me and the coach into his office. He said no, and that he wanted to take me there.
…It made me smile the most I've ever smiled. It's a child's dream. I know that more schools will be looking at me in the future, but I'm really happy to have received this offer. ”
As a junior this fall, Lindsey rushed for nearly 1,800 yards and 26 touchdowns and also competed in track and field.
