When Jonoy Craddock rode his bike near Georgette Enriquez's home, little did he know he would end up riding into her heart. Georgette, who was 15 at the time, recalled that a friend who had known Jonoy from basic school asked her to borrow his bike and ride. From there, Jonoy took the opportunity to show off his charm and get to know Georgette better.
“When I first met Jonoy, I initially thought of him as a friend who I could relate to. He often came to my house and we had conversations about various topics. As we spent more time together, I started to develop feelings for him,” Georgette said. island weddingHe said he took her out for ice cream most Sundays.
But for Jonoy, the love story began much earlier than the fateful ride. “In 2008 I was in my backyard and I heard laughter. I climbed a guava tree to get a better view and saw my girlfriend and nephew playing with balloons. A few days later, on my bike, As I was passing by, a friend of mine, who happened to be her friend, stopped me and asked me to give her a ride. We exchanged names and talked for a while while our friend was in the car. ” he shared.
“My first impressions about her were that she was cute, interesting, intelligent, a little rowdy, but very full of life.'' , I got home from school earlier and earlier every day. If I got home late, I used homework as an excuse to go see my girlfriend. That's what I told my parents. I wanted to spend more time with her. The more I learn, the more I want to do better in school, and now I want to do better every day,” he added.
Although Georgette moved away a few months later, Jonoy continued to court her consistently, visiting her on Sundays. Eventually, he worked up the courage to ask her to be his girlfriend. “I agreed to be his girlfriend, but after a few months we broke up due to various external factors,” she said.
The two did not hear from each other for 10 years before reuniting in June 2020. Reminiscing about the fun times, they decided to rekindle their passion a few months later in October.
“I went to her house and told her I didn't just want to be good friends. I danced around each other and told her how much I had loved her since we were teenagers and that love was even more… I stopped hiding my true feelings about growing up. I didn't want the nights to pass and we didn't have each other's company. I also told her that she was going to be my wife. She believed it. I didn’t,” he said.

“He is a warm, kind and loving person in everything he does. He has supported me in everything since we got together, from housework to driving lessons to getting my license and car. Until I got him. He got out of a bad relationship and I was just leaving my sister's custody, so we started from scratch. After 13 months of dating, Jonoy decided to start a new chapter by asking the love of his life not once, but twice, to become his wife.
The two had their first very intimate engagement five days after her birthday. But that wasn't enough. So, for the second time, he planned a romantic proposal at Buzo Italian Restaurant.

On December 22, 2023, three days before Christmas, two hearts became one in a beautiful wedding ceremony at Tarrant Baptist Church in Kingston. A reception followed at the Alhambra Inn.
The groom shared that their wedding was special and said the main event was full of joy, love and surprises. The bride credited her husband, family, and friends with helping plan a wonderful wedding, saying, “I think my husband's kiss and dance surprised me the most.”
