Community leaders recognized

A longtime Campbell business owner, she is recognized as a community leader by both the Campbell Chamber of Commerce and the Downtown Campbell Business Association (DCBA).

The chamber named Brooke Ramirez, owner of Bombshell Boutique, Citizen of the Year for her “outstanding contributions to the Campbell community,” and the DCBA said, It celebrates her contribution to “making a place.”

“One event at a time, and one year at a time, a rotating cast of characters continued to work together to create culture in downtown Campbell. Brooke has always been one of those characters,” the DCBA website says. ” says the DCBA website.

Heart Matter, featuring vocalist Amy D and percussionist Dillon Vado, will perform at the Ainsley House Garden Concert on April 14th from 1.30pm.
Amy D and Vado are both from San Jose and currently live in Oakland. Heart Matter's original compositions combine chamber music, Brazilian rhythms, and jazz improvisation.

Vaughn postpones show

Four-time Grammy Award winner Jimmie Vaughan and his Tilt-A-Whirl Band have rescheduled their show at Campbell's Heritage Theater, originally scheduled for Saturday, April 6th.
